Dozens of trails to choose from, most accessible from the grounds of the Chautauqua National Historic Landmark. We hiked a 2 mile loop combining McClintock and Enchanted Mesa trails. Open valley sections, forested trails, mild to steep climbs, views, rocks - you name it, this trail system has it all. Super convenient to Boulder and University of Colorado.
From Boulder, take Broadway south to Baseline. Turn right (west) onto Baseline and look for the Chautauqua ranger station / trailhead area on the left after about a mile.
